    Edit this file: google-author-information-in-search-results-wordpress-plugin/class.filter.php

    with target=”_blank”

    if($options['hide'] == 1) {
    			return $content.='<a style="display:none;" href="'.$gplus_author_link.'">Google+</a>';
    		} else {
    			return $content.='<a href="'.$gplus_author_link.'" target="_blank">Google+</a>';
    		}
    	}

    }

    Hi sanuja,
    Because of this support ticket I’ve added the option to open the link in a new browser window.
    I also added the possibility to customize the links name in the new version (0.3).

    Thanks and greetings

    You are welcome and thanks for the great plug in… Also another suggestion I can make is that instead of having an option to replace the author link from each page with Google+ link, why not an option to have both of them at the top?

    Just a suggestion to improve the plug in.

    Thank again and all the best.
