  • either we’re both missing something or the shortcode doesn’t work.

i’m having the same situation. the widget works quite well, but the shortcode does nothing. there may be a problem with the newest version of wordpress.

i wish there were better documentation on its usage.

Anyone found a solution? I am at a loss as to how to get this plugin to work. When I insert the shortcodes the pages act like nothing is happening. I bought the pro version and was having configuration issues, but now none of the shortcodes display the albums, images, or carousels…

Not found a solution yet. Looking at other plugins now and so far kpicasa seems to be the closest to what I am trying to accomplish.

To display albums use shortcode [nak_google_picasa_albums]

To show only specific albums add the album ids like so [nak_google_picasa_albums show_albums=’5218473000700519489,5218507736478682657′]

This is a place holder to display the results of an album that has been clicked on [nak_google_picasa_album_images], normally on a separate page, make sure you have chosen this page from the dropdown menu in the plug settings page!

All this information is included in the readme.txt file in the plugin folder.

    Kind Regards

I had already read the readme file and tried the items in the read me file and did not work for me which is why I posted in the support forum. Just tried this again using your instructions above and still not working for me.

    Site is located at:

    Page is Photo Gallery.

There must be a conflict between your theme and plugin to help find out where it’s occurring disable all your other plugins and switch to the default WordPress theme for a bit.

If the problem persists, open a thread, if not, figure out which plugin is the cause of the problem and open a thread mentioning both plugins.

I have the same issue. Albums are showing correctly in the widget but not on any page. I switched themes and deactivated all plugins, no result.

Can you explain what you have done, e.g. the shortcode in place that is not working? Have you changed your pemalinks to something other than default? Is your .htaccess file writable?

    Could you follow the template?

    I did this:

I expected the plugin to do this:

    Instead it did this:

I am having the same problem. It appears that this plugin uses a different version of jQuery than the version that my theme uses and this creates a problem. MOST people who write plugins do not define the version of jQuery to make their plugins run within most any theme as most of the advanced plugins load jQuery. The new responsive themes do this. You will continue to have these kinds of compatibility problems until you get this understanding.

I have everything running. Its a great plugin. However, I just need the Album names to show up on the image or below or on top o the Gallery / all albums page.
I also need the image names / descriptions to show up on the single album of image page.

    This is the page:
