[Plugin: Google Drive for WordPress] Unable to create zip file – Resolution included.

  • This plugin works with this version of WordPress. I can confirm this.

I was receiving errors stating that I was not allowed access to my wp-content/backup and wp-content/db directories. The errors also stated that the Zip file was not created.

I attempted changing the permissions on these folders to full read-write-execute (chmod 777 instead of 775) but I was unsuccessful. I was still getting errors that the zip file was not created.

I resolved the issue by deleting these two folders and recreating them. They had the same permissions (rwxrwxr-x, or 775) but the group was listed as web [25000] and I was listed as the owner.

This solved all errors after re-authorizing the Api through google. Hope this helps.
