What can I say – I have yet to find ANY WP backup plugin that uploads to any cloud service and works 100% of the time; this one works 0% of the time.
I have no idea why this is such a big deal to the developers but this plugin is no better than all the others – it doesn’t work.
ALL of these kinds of plugins just lock up and never finish uploading to ANY cloud service. I’ve been trying them all for about 1-year now. I wish one of them worked since I’ve probably invested 50 hours trying to make them work.
Google cloud seems to be really weird. I’ve got it on my hard drive on my laptop and I can move files to it and they appear on the Google server online. But the stupid idea of a “bucket” really makes no sense. We have all grown up with the filing cabinet way of dealing with files and now Google introduces Buckets? Some of these plugins demand a bucket and this one doesn’t.
I suspect this plugin is working with Google the wrong way since a Bucket is the key to Google – and a unique one among hundreds of millions of users too. Really dumb.
Free plugins really aren’t free are they…..
