# [Plugin: Google Doc Embedder] Unsupported file type

 * Hi and thanks for the plug in,
 * Unfortunately I get this error and cannot embed the file:
    “Unsupported file 
   type”
 * The url can either be something like:
 * [gview file=”[http://docs.google.com/document/d/<number-like-API-here>/edit”%5D](http://docs.google.com/document/d/<number-like-API-here>/edit”%5D)
 * or
 * [gview file=”[https://docs.google.com/open?id=<number-like-API-here>”%5D](https://docs.google.com/open?id=<number-like-API-here>”%5D)
 * the first was a doc the second a pdf. neither was able to be embedded. Tried 
   with both http and https at the beginning.
 * I also run the server at the moment mia mamp but I believe that’s not the problem.

 * Please save your document in one of the supported formats. Google Docs API calls
   aren’t valid as this is an external service using Google Viewer.
