[Plugin: Google Doc Embedder] Please help

    Hello everybody.

    Sorry about my bad english writing skill.

    I am trying to get working a site with wordpress and it is a requirement the site could show PDF embedded.

    I was looking for the correct plugin and i must to say this one seems to be the apropiate for my purposes.

    But i have spent two days since i installed and i only can show correctly the PDF that are in a external URL. I can not show the PDF i have hosted in the site directories.

    Now the site is working in local. could it be the reason it don’t work?

    When I try to show any of the PDF files that I have saved in the site directories, I only can obtain this message.

    “Sorry, we are unable to retrieve the document for viewing.”

    and “Please, try it again later” (or something like this)

    Could anyone tell me what is going wrong?

    Hi lokky,

    If the viewer is giving the error “Sorry, we are unable to retrieve the document for viewing” it is most likely because the link is wrong, either it has an error or the file does not exist in that location. The plug-in is working correctly since the viewer is loading, but the viewer can’t find the file you’ve asked for.

    Thank you for the answer.

    I had been looking for any error in the URLs of the files. I didn’t found error.
    I will try to fix that in the next two days, if I would fail I’ll send you and email.
