The Google Calendar Widget is EXACTLY what I need – and it looks great too!

I tested this on a Linux installation and it worked great; so full of confidence I installed it on a WordPress installation that is being set up for an astronomy group I am involved with.

Despite identical settings I just could not get it to work (I’m using IE9). The loading animation just shows continually. I tried it again using Chrome – and it works just fine! With IE9 in compatibility mode – still no joy.

I’m not aware of any IE9 settings that would be blocking content… any suggestions?

I am not aware of any issues. Do you have a link to look at? I would check your console output window for any errors.

The problem is now fixed but I do not understand why. Although the widget wouls not work when viewed from my instance of IE9, it did not affect another PC running the same version. I could not see anything in the console window.

I went through settings one by one with no success until I clicked Reset Advanced Settings and then the widget worked fine. However, by doing this I’ve lost any means of finding out which settings affected the widget. This would have been useful in the event that other users of my site (www.sagasonline.org) encountered problems.

It is a great plug-in – many thanks.
