I recently installed this plugin however I’m not able to see any of the custom variables in the new version of google analytics, only default ones (Key 01, Key 02, Variable 01, Variable 02, etc.). I have categories and logged in users checked but they don’t show up in the report. I reverted to the old version and saw that categories was reporting, but that’s it (not logged in users for example). We’ve been using regular Google Analytics (without any plugin) since May of last year and manually entered the id number from that profile into the plugin and left the default for where to put the tracking code (header). Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to say put it in manually and just leave it since we already had the code installed as this wasn’t really clear in the instructions.

Also, we had an oDesk programmer recently put in a javascript snippet that tracks all downloads and clicks as events. Could this be conflicting with the plugin? I did not check for the plugin to do this as well. What would happen if I had the plugin track downloads as events? I want to make sure this plugin fully works before getting rid of the programmer’s snippet.

    So my questions are:
    1) Does this plugin fully work with the new Google Analytics format and reporting?
    2) Is the plugin compatible with an Analytics account that has been operating for several months already (without a plugin)?
    3) If so, how does one install the plugin to track properly using the existing profile so as not to lose the existing website data?
    4) Would the Javascript snippet installed for tracking clicks and downloads be conflicting with the plugin even if this option is not checked in the plugin?

The website in question here for your reference is
Thanks in advance for any help.
