[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] jQuery UI Tabs Conflict

  • Seems a blank response came through?

    Seems it is conflicting with jqZoom script as well. Any ideas why this plugin is causing so many Javascript conflicts?

    It adds the site url to any href=”#link” creating href=”www.site.com/#link”.

    I’m trying to find a way to tell it to ignore specific links and not add the url info.

    My issue with this plugin is that it loads jquery, but I’ve already loaded jquery, and this creates conflicts. The plugin should have an option to disable jquery loading, or detect before blindly loading. I disabled the line in the plugin that loads jquery and that appears to have corrected my issue… until the next update.

    @mcswebsolutions,

    You’ve already loaded jQuery?

    Did you do it the right way using wp_enqueue_script('jquery'); ? If you did, you shouldn’t be having this problem.

    @mcswebsolutions,

    I hope you’re not trying to load a custom version of jQuery? That’s not a very good idea, you should be using the version which is distributed with WordPress.

    Hey guys, just to let you know that we have found a fix for this issue.

    Instead of using href=”#tab1″ you want to use href=”http://www.yourwebsiteurl.com/#tab1″ instead, this will prevent this plugin from loading a second instance of your website inside the tabs.

    Hope this helps someone 🙁
