  • The Youst GA for WP plugin (GAWP plugin) is installed on my WP blog, but I am confused about how to get it working properly.

blog.oldchinabooks.com is the URL for the WP blog, and is a subdomain linked to oldchinabooks.com/YangShen_eBook_Blog, which is where the WP code is kept.

oldchinabooks.com is one of my GA accounts – I have told GA to track it as one domain with multiple subdomains. QUESTION: do I need a separate account named blog.oldchinabooks.com (or oldchinabooks.com/YangShen _eBook_Blog) tracked as a single domain that uses a unique tracking ID for the GAWP plugin?

QUESTION: Where do I put the code snippet gen’d by GA? in the oldchinabooks.com website header (a problem placing as Yahoo Sitebuilder doesn’t allow direct access to HTML)? Or in the header.php file for the theme I am using in the WP blog?

    Thanks all,
    James
