[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Can't authenticate (7 posts)

Every time I try to authenticate, it takes me to a page where I have to Grant Access or Deny -
I grant access then it takes me back to WP Admin and says "Unfortunately, an error occurred while connecting to Google, please try again" -

And I don't know where to get the UA code to enter manually if I can't get it to authenticate?

I have exactly the same issue. Have removed and reinstalled with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Would love to move forward.

Same with me. I try to authenticate and get the same error as above.

I was able to move forward manually. It's not very hard to do.

    Go to http://www.google.com/analytics
    Create and account.
Enter in your domain name and URL
It will generate a tracking ID code that starts with UA
    Copy the code

Go back to the WordPress admin page- Google Analytics page
Click the check box for manually entering in your UA code
Paste the code into the UA box

Now... everything looks OK so far. I ran a report and there is no data but I assume ..... it should be collecting some in the next day or so.

    Good luck.
