[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress]

I’ve downloaded the Google Analytics for WordPress plugin to my site, link below, but am having troubles authenticating. When I “click here to authenticate with Google” I’m directed to a page with an error that reads:

“We are unable to verify the name associated with this application because it runs on your computer, as opposed to on a website. We recommend you do not allow access unless you trust the application.”

When I click “allow access” anyways I am sometimes prompted to login to a google account, even though there isn’t one associated with my site, and other times I am redirected back to the plugin’s dashboard where I am told to try again.

I have the latest version of WordPress, my theme is The Agency bought from Themeforest but has some modifications done to it and the site is hosted with DreamHost if any of this makes a difference. I know others are having this problem, any solves out there?
