# Plugin gone, folder still there

 * My Easy Recipe plugin is no longer listed as an installed plugin and has basically
   been removed from my site, by no action of mine. However, I can still see the
   files and folder in my blue host file manager.
 * Should I simply delete these files and re-install? If so, will it update all 
   past recipes on my blog?

 * Delete the “wp-content/plugins/easyrecipe” directory and re-install.
 * You won’t lose any data.

 * I had the same issue on another site. Easy Recipe (though installed) was not 
   listed with the plugins in the Dashboard. When I went into the hosting files 
   I found it in wp-content/plugins/easyrecipe. I deleted that files (per instructions
   above) and reinstalled the plugin.
 * It seems that it’s working now but all old recipe posts have lost their formatting.
   Is this right?
