• I upgraded to GT 1.0.8.1 from 1.0.7.1, directly without uninstall.
I lost my cache. I had a backup copy of the 1.0.7.1 cache. But if i copy the files in the new cache folder (gt-cache), i receive this message:

cache: deleting BAD cached version .

Is there a way to preserve/copy the old files to the new cache dir without deletion?

    Kind regards

    Luca

  • I have the same concern and question. I have well over 3000 pages cached and I am hesitant to upgrade until I can move all those cached pages over so they won’t all have to be re-translated.

    Hi
The 1.0.8.1 will automatically move the old cached files (inside global-translator/cache) to the new cache location (gt-cache).

The message “deleting BAD cached version” should no matter with the cache moving issue.

You have just to manually upgrade to 1.0.8.1 (by overriding the previous version).

Hi how can I remove the cache for gt-cache. It does not allow me to delete the cache from the hosting control or from any ftp application.
    Please help.
    thanks
