Plugin: Get The Image Can't get thumbnail to float left

  • Hi all – I’ve just installed Justin Tadlock’s Get The Image plugin to get thumbnails on my search results. I’ve scoured the readme file and the forums for several hours, but I’m still having 2 problems I’m can’t seem to find the answer to:

    1) The thumbnails are displyaing below the excerpt, creating a strange use of space. I’d really like to get them to float left of the excerpt. Do I add something to the array for the GTI plugin, or is this a stylesheet issue?

    2) Wider images are being hard-cropped to thumbnail size of 150×150, cutting off the pictures’ edges. How can I get the images to either fit within those confines, or to stick to 150high, but where the width adjusts as necessary? (I’d be fine with either option.)

You can see examples of both issues here, on an example search for the term “nickel”:

    Theme is a twentyten child.

I’m pretty new to this, so if you can dumb the answer down as much as possible, I would hugely appreciate it!! 🙂 Thank you so much for your suggestions!
