[resolved] Redirect after visitor count per day (3 posts)

Hi I use "count per day" plugin to count my visitors
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/count-per-day/

But the problem is that visitors are redirected before they are counted, so I have to sum the counts of all sites.

Could it be set to redirect visitors after they are counted?

Or should I consider to use google analitics instead and see if it counts them before redirection?

    thanks

To be counted the user have to load and view the page. Redirection should be the very first action after request. Only real pageviews are counted.

If you are redirecting to another domain - that's no problem to count right before redirection. You have to modify action hooks of both plugins.

But if you are redirecting to the same site, but with another language option - it will count twice, right before and after redirection. That is not good behavior at all.

    Hi,

    thanks for quick response.

The thing is I want to use it for different area posts on hosted on subsides, but the count should be from main site.

I will try with google analytics and see what happens...

    Cheers
