  • Do you have the Genesis Framework installed on your site? – This is required!

i do not think i do

I am sorry, but this plugin is only useful for users of the Genesis Framework with a Genesis child theme.

However, I am thankful for your feedback as I found a bug causing your error. I just pushed an update so if you want to still try you can download version 1.0.1 here:
    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/genesis-widgetized-notfound.1.0.1.zip

–> if you don’t have Genesis installed you now get the proper message for it, just in case. So, a little more gracefully…

Since the plugin repository here on WordPress.org has some refreshing problems, you can read the full readme file here currently:
    http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/genesis-widgetized-notfound/trunk/readme.txt

(I guess the WP.org team is already working on this…)

    Sorry again for the trouble!

Have a great day, Dave 🙂

well, Thanks, at least I got your reply, makes mi feel much healthier.
If I understand correctly, working team will restore my website? [garbowski.net] If not I may need you expertise/advise.
    chris

    Hi!
You only need to remove my plugin from the /wp-content/plugins/ folder. Best to do via FTP. Just remove or rename the folder “genesis-widgetized-notfound”. That’s all.

Then reload your admin area and all should work like before. My plugin does NOT make anything on filed/db or such!!!

It was only a function typo error!

    Thanks, Dave 🙂

    Dave,
I can’t get to my website that’s my problem (site completely crashed)
dilemma … sorry for this inconvenience caused for you.
    chris

When you have a self-hosted site then you’ve got FTP access (that’s how you must have installed WordPress, right?). If you have no direct FTP access go to your web hosting provider’s admin panel and see if there’s a file management area. If so, go to the folder mentioned above and delete it.

    Hope this helps.

oh Dave , I think it helps. Its great to have help from trusted person like you.
    Haben Sie vielen Dank

    Dankesehr! – You’re welcome 🙂

I hope you got it to work – if not, please get back here.

Sorry for the inconvenience I’ve caused you!!!

    Dave,
Thank you so much for the help and assistance. It helped and now works again. Great job.

    Thanx for reporting successful reactivation!

    Great your site is back!

Have a great day, Dave 🙂

Dave, am I in trouble, my site GARBOWSKI.NET crashed again. I do not remember doing anything unusual. what’s should I do?
    Thanks for looking in.
    chris

    Hi there!

Did you do something plugin or theme related? What theme is installed and what plugins?

Help could only be provided with access to your site I guess.
