• Hi GD Star Rating Team,

I’ve been really struggling hard to find the following strange behaviour in my blog http://enjoyingourbeauty.com (The site is still in testing, so please feel free to test this issue yourself). Until I disabled all plugins and started enabling them one by one I found out GD Star Rating is the culprit: after leaving a comment, the page jumps to the newly inserted comment (=perfect) only to scroll down another +- 300px a split second later (this seems to increase the further down the comment is)!

This causes my test-users to post the same reply again because they don’t see their reply (as it is above the visible page area). When I reload the page (still with “#comment-xxx” in the url) it now jumps to the new reply and doesn’t scroll again. I’m having this behavior in both Chrome and Firefox.

I’ve been going through the code and trying to comment out the possible JS calls but to no success.

Do you have any idea how this comes and how to stop it?

    Thanks already!

I don’t see what the page scrolling has with GDSR. Since this is the first (and only) report about such behavior, I am 100% sure that problem is not with GDSR but combination of maybe theme and plugin. There is nothing in GDSR that can cause this on it’s own.
