  • I have just added this new and exciting pluggin to my blog and thus far I’m really happy with it. I was wondering what was the purpose/function of the 2 boxes (1 drop down menu: ‘/0-5’ the other: ‘/0-9’) entitled ‘Review’ in edit mode and what is the significance of those numbers in the drop down menus?

Also, is there stats available (maybe a pluggin) for members saying who has received most votes on average for all posts they’ve contributed, say in a month or all time?

Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Review is single rating value given by the post author. This is independed rating not connected in any way to rating given by visitors or users. Review can be used for example: your post is about a book, and with review rating you rate the book.

2 combos are given so the review value can be with one decimal (3.5 or 7.5 or something like that). If your review rating is set to a maximum of 5 stars, max value can be 5.0, if you set it to 5.7, it will be rounded to 5. This can be set on plugins settings panel.

There are a lot of statistics that can be displayed, using shortcode or widgets, support templates, cusotm tags and styles… More info on my blog (there are posts with examples), and in the user guide (also downloadable from my blog, in PDF).

In the next few weeks I will try to create more examples, depending on the free time I have, main focus will be on multi ratings feature.

    That’s fantastic Milan.

Thanks a million. I look forward to seeing these examples.

Do you have a link to your blog by any chance?

    Kind regards,

Links are included with the plugin, but here it is:

In readme file you can find links for Google Code Project page with access to SVN, Google Groups, my blog and forum.
