    Hello,
Such kind of error says that script couldn’t be able to get the image size. Please check what image size you have (more then 0 byte?) in ‘when my image files (jpg, 1Mo) are 100% uploaded’.

    Best regards,
    Oksana

    Hi Oksana,

    Hello,

You can upload less then 2 mb images or change your hosting provider.

    Best regards,
    Oksana

Please try that version of the plugin which you are using on another website. If everything will work correctly, then issue related to the plugin’s version and we will try to fix it. If it will not work, then it is related to the hosting or folder’s settings, but not to the plugin.

    Sincerely,
    Oksana

Oke i will doe that and will keep you up to date.

    greets

    Well Oksana,
it didnt worked i installed the old version and nothing, i just dont know where to look form porblem.

i use the same host, the same template and the same plugins but it wouldnt upload the pics.

i guess just bad luck this time.

    thx nayway.

This means that error is not related to the plugin. The same hosting provider is not guarantee similar settings for the new website.
Please check folder permissions on both websites for wp-content, plugin folder and for uploads folder. Select settings like on website where plugin works correctly.

    Best,
    Oksana

    Hi Oksana,

I have just checked both are 755 but i can not stil upload the img so i found another plugin but not that user friendly as yours but it does the job.

I almost dont dare to say but i think maybe its has to doe with the new version, it will be very sad if this problem continies because its a great plugin to use. I will start a new project next week and i need your plugin again so i will give another try i hope it will work.

in both cases i will let you now.

    Poka;)

    Best regards.

i have the same issue – ‘upload failed’ – regardless of image size, host or permissions to folders.

WordPress 3.4 installation is successful uploading to media, gallery 3.4 plugin upload using the same image fails.

    Hello Chris,

Since, the functional of the custom uploader initially posts the files not in the uploads folder but in the folder of the plugin, and only then, when saving the post, it moves them with the help of WordPress functionality to the folder uploads; that is why, the rights 755 should be set up for the folders wp-content, plugins, gallery-plugin, files, and then, the script of the plugin will have enough rights to upload the images.

    Here is the documentation http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions#Shared_Hosting_with_suexec

You can use the standard uploader on the same page of gallery editing and the uploaded images will appear in the block under the custom uploader.

    Sincerely,
    Tatyana

I found in my case, my host instituted Apache mod_security for user protection. After contacting them regarding this issue, they entered an exception for this app and it works as designed.

To whomever reads this, I hope it helps!

    I also have this problem.
Here’s what I get when I try to upload a photo:

    AAG-FDR1.jpg76.6kBFailed

    AAG-FDR1.jpg
    undefinedxundefined

Plus, when I try to click on UPDATE in wordpress to see if the page will Publish, I get this info:

Warning: copy(/home/theresaj/public_html/saintpiusxchurch/wp/wp-content/plugins/gallery-plugin/upload/files/AAG-FDR1.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/theresaj/public_html/saintpiusxchurch/wp/wp-content/plugins/gallery-plugin/gallery-plugin.php on line 324

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/theresaj/public_html/saintpiusxchurch/wp/wp-content/plugins/gallery-plugin/gallery-plugin.php:324) in /home/theresaj/public_html/saintpiusxchurch/wp/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 881

AAG-FDR1.jpg was the name of the jpeg I tried to upload, and it is only 82k.
    I am so confused.
I haven’t uploaded pictures in while, so I’m not sure what happened.
I did update WordPress and the Gallery plugin, but “after” I had this problem. I thought updating might fix it. But I still have the problem after everything is updated.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

    Hello,

the script of the plugin does not have enough rights to upload images, that is why, in your case it is better to use WordPress media uploader on the same page of editing of gallery.

    Best Regards,
    Tatyana

check the file-name of the images. i know it sounds strange but in my case, when i change the image file name to use english letters with no dash, space etc, its work for me…!!
