 * I’m trying to connect to my G3 system using http authentication as in your FAQ
   but I get a 404 error when I save.
 * If I place this address into browser or wget, I get some kind of response, not
   a 404.
 * It should be found at [http://username:passord@gallery.kiff-backhouse.com/index.php/rest](http://username:passord@gallery.kiff-backhouse.com/index.php/rest)

 * I figured out the problem. I hadn’t put a tailing slash on the url
