# [Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] preview works fine, shortcode does not!

 * hi,
 * i have set up the slideshow and have viewed it in the preview window in the admin
   section. Everything works fine there.
 * The problem is when I copy the shortcode to the page it does not show up. When
   you look through the source code it’s as if the shortcode was never there!
 * I’m trying to put the slideshow on the homepage, the page is static, I have set
   up a category called slider and included the images from the posts that I want.
 * I have been thru all the support on here but I can’t seem to fix it.
 * Help please?
