  • When you add or edit a post, look under the editor, you will see a special zone called “Frontpage-Slideshow options” : put all special informations that you want to see on slideshow here. You dont need to code anything, all functions got an interface

I knew it was going to be something nice and simple. Thanks for that. I just need to get my head around how WP works. My site is getting there, all i need to do now is try and make it go faster! But her there will be another thread for that somewhere i’m sure.

    Thanks Jeff.

Try WP Super Cache plugin to speed up

    Thanks for that!

Just a follow up if i may:
having now added it to my front page and now have 2 posts with links there are 2 things that i cannot do.

    1. Is there anyway i can add HTML to the slide comment I was trying to add this: Follow our Christmas meditations at Rochford Community Church <b> click here for more details </b> and all it did was stop it working!

The next things is i have the show buttons set to no but when the slideshow transitions between images you get a flicker of the side button comment and title. This just doesn’t seem to be that professional looking. Is there anything i can do to stop this?

You can, of course, add random HTML code on slide comments like I did on my own website, but if the slide show stop working it may be because the code you added was not well formed… look at the source code for a not closed tag or javascript error that can put in a way to know and fix it.

Concerning the apparition of buttons, you got to fix the sizes of image to 100% and button one to 0% under the size and position section.
