[Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] Images not initializing, but then plays fine once clicking "next&

Hello. My unique ID is 14165.

i am trying to implement this on a site through the template code. When you visit the page or refresh, the slideshow just has the loading icon spin forever.

however, when i click the next arrow, the slides initialize and rotate as normal, but when you refresh the page or revisit, it goes back to spinning and spinning.

we are running:
WP 2.9
php 5
FS 0.9.9.3.4

please advise. i’ve looked through tons of these forums, and some of them get close to what i’m facing, but not quite the fix.

i can also downgrade to .9.8 and it does initialize and run fine, but the navigation buttons disappear … we need these.

it’s a great plugin. i’d like to be able to use it if i can get this one issue ironed out.
