• Hello everyone,

My website: http://www.afinida.com is a multilingual platform (English, French and Spanish).

To create it as a multinlingual site I integrated the WPML plugin which allows me to easily create linked pages/posts (in French or Spanish) to the default page/post (in English).

If you go on http://www.afinida.com you can see that on my homepage there is a frontpage slideshow that displays the newest posts of my blog that is english by default.

However, when I switch the homepage to French, frontpage slideshow will appear but display the english versions of my posts even if I have translated the english posts into french.

In a nutshell: I’d like to have three frontpage slideshows that display my posts in English, French and Spanish.

I’m not sure I’m being clear enough, so I’ll leave it to that and I’ll ask you to not hesitate to let me know of any lead or if you need more details regarding this issue.

    Thanks for any tips/solutions!

  • I actually dont have time to have a look at how WPML is working, but, if it creates one article per language you can easilly use one slider per language by using the shortcode way to include and by adding all post using one language into a special category (like spanish, english, french) then makes the slider to show only the posts of spanish, english or french language…
