I have already modifyed my theme so that the text widgets get id=”%1$s” class=”widget %2$s”. Now editing text-widgets works fine, if i turn on the WYSIWYG Editor. If i turn it off, the “ok”-button stops to work. “cancel”-button works fine, even with WYSIWYG Editor on.

I have no problem editing posts. This works with both WYSIWYG Editor on and off.

As i want to customize wordpress for a customer who doesnt want the WYSIWYG Editor in Front End Editor, this is a huge problem for me.

My mistake: the problem is editing text widgets with WYSIWYG Editor off.

    Thanks for reporting.

This has been fixed in the development version (1.9.2-alpha2).

Thanks for the nice support, even though my discription was rather confusing, not to say totally turned top to bottom.

Editing now works fine with WYSIWYG editor off. Which is what i want for my current project.

Btw you might be interested in the fact, that if the WYSIWYG Editor is turned on, one of my text widgets makes problems, if i hit enter, nothing happens, no new line is added. But you can erase lines. I did copy and paste an empty line and pasted it in, and that works. Strange …

Yeah, I noticed that too. Seems to be Firefox specific.

heyho, first thanks for the great plugin scribu 😀

I’ve got the same problem with new lines in Firefox, but in IE it works all fine.

any ideas how to fix it?
