[Plugin: Front-end Editor] Won't toggle strong, em, and other existing markup

  • After installing this brilliant plugin and I’m using the latest version at this time, I have issues with editing certain elements.

For example, when a paragraph has a segment of text previously marked up with the strong tag, when I try to highlight and toggle this to get rid of strong, nothing happens. I have to go back to the full editor to get rid of the tag.

This is also the case with em and I assume b and i give the same problems.

Here’s an image that shows my cursor is in a group of bolded text but the aloha editor doesn’t reflect that it’s bold.

Is this a known bug with the aloha editor or with this plugin? I can see this same behavior on multiple installations of WordPress.
