# [plugin: Freshpost, Flutter]fresh install fatal error

 * Hi,
    i have installed what i thought was Flutter but appears to be called ‘fresh
   post’ when unzipped.
 * When i attempt to turn on the plug in i get the following:
 * Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
 * Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION
   or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /var/www/html/site/wp-content/plugins/fresh-page/tools/debug.
   php on line 19
 * I tried to follow the installation according to the pdf that came with the download
   but it refers to folders that do not exist?!
 * does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

 * i’ve exactly the same fatal error, de-activated all other plugins, no solution,
   still hoping for a nice x-mas with a working flutter…

 * i have made it work by doing the following 2 things:
    1. open /wp-content/plugins/
   fresh-page/tools/debug.php -comment out the contents of the function there (lines
   10-33).
 * 2. if you retry you get an error about not having certain folders, you have to
   manually create them and chmod them to 777:
 * fresh-page/files_flutter
    fresh-page/modules purifier_lib/ HTMLPurifier/DefinitionCache/
   Serializer/HTML
 * It appears to work, now i just have to work out how to use the plug in!

 * I tried the step 2 and managed to install the plugin.
 * Then I removed the comment of debug.php and the error came back when trying to
   access the options page.
 * Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION
   or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home/illusion/public_html/site/wp-content/plugins/fresh-page/
   tools/debug.php on line 19
