 * Hi,
 * I’m looking for a plugin that can display a widget in a sidebar and will allow
   me to associate a date with a post so that the plugin will roll off (i.e., not
   show) the post when the date is passed (and even put in some text “No posts to
   display” if there are none). The key is that the date is not any “standard” date
   such as the published date or modified date, it’s a date associated with the
   post’s info (think “calendar event”). However, the problem with using a calendar
   plugin is that some of the posts won’t have a specific date associated with it,
   so it’s not really an event (so I’ll just set a date on which I want it to roll
   off). It’s more like News and Events section.
 * I feel like I’m caught in between a Calendar and a Recent Posts plugin.
 * Anyone have any ideas?
 * – Rob
