Plugin for "Order Status Check"

Hi,

I am working on a wordpress site which needs a simple plugin to allow customers to check order status only. For example they enter the order id or their name and it will display the status of the order. Now the site is not an ecommerce site. Orders are placed over phone. Customers will be given an order id which they will use to check status online.

What will be the best way to achieve this without going through custom development?
