Plugin for Managing Many Posts and Pages in Admin?

I just went through the WordPress Codex list of plugins for Administration, and didn’t see what I was looking for. Is there a plugin that, when you have lots of pages and/or posts, split them into multiple pages, so you can download the Manage pages faster, and perhaps find them quickly on those various pages by searching by first letter/ID number/something else? Also, is there a plugin (perhaps the same one), that lets you close sub-categories under their parent categories? For instance, if you have a category called “Stories,” and under Stories you have four of your stories, can you have just the Stories category listed, with an option to show or hide the actual story listings? Thanks!
