Plugin for managing fishing competition scores

Hi guys,
i am managing an website for an fishing group on my work, and i have decided to make a new page with wp.. i am totally new to wp so please bare with me.

The group has around 8-10 trips each year, with a competition involved. Off course it is about catching the most kilos, and at the end of the year, the one with the most kilos win.

So far i have just done like this:

Trip 1:
John – 8,2 kg
Michael 2 – 2,1 kg
Joan 3 – 0,7 kg

Trip 2:
Cliff – 7,1 kg
Joan – 1,0 kg

And so on… hope you get the point 🙂

But.. there must be an easyer way to do this 🙂 I have found tablepress that lets me insert in tables.. but isnt there some sort of plugin, that lets me input data (players) and then like matches add scores to each player, and then have a table for each match and a table for the total score?
