Plugin for Global content?

    Hi,

    I have been searching EVERYWHERE and yes, even this website but cannot find anything about this.

    As you know, it’s common place to have a consistent header and footer across a website. What I need is a plugin that can help my customer manage this content from WordPress globally.

    Ideally, it would be a plugin that takes you to a page where you can create or manage fields. I would then be able to use these variables across the website where needed.

    For some reason, I cannot find anything for this type of thing. I thought it’d be a common requirement.

    I’m not after meta data or SEO plugins, I’m after a plugin that will allow me to create and manage fields with content that can be used anywhere across the website. A bit like a page that isn’t a single page in itself.

    Any help? I’d be willing to pay for such a plugin, I don’t mind but I’m not good enough at PHP or have the time to do this myself 🙁

    I think I’m looking for the same solution here.

    What I would like (CMS Made Simple got it standaard) is a Global Content Tag, where I could add like information about the company:

    • the companyname
    • adress
    • phonenumber
    • e-mailadres

    to use global on a website.

    So I could put it in the footer:

    Phonenumber: {globaltag_phonenumber} Street: {globaltag_streetname}

    So when your company changes street, you can change it in the CMS. (Now the customer has to call me so I have to change the footer.php file.)
