[Plugin: Folding Categories for WordPress 2.3] How to make Expand / Collapse work?

    Hi there,
    Cool plugin. Just a few comments:

    1) I liked your example of expandable categories on your page
    I’m a n00b, so I just copied and pasted the sample code to the style.css file under “categories”. After doing this, the categories are indented, but I’m not seeing the expand / collapse buttons. Do I need to customize the code (which I would need lots of help)? Or is the theme overriding it?

    2) Is there a way to duplicate your widget? I want to break out the presentation of the categories, so I want one sidebar widget with a group of categories under it (i.e. computers, PC, electronics, etc)…and then another sidebar widget with a different group of categories under it (i.e. cars, motorcycles, planes, etc). Is this possible?

    1)
    a. You will need to enable the option “Enable CSS to show expandable categories” from within the widget admin panel.
    b. You will need icons for expand and collapse (these can be found on Google images quite easily).
    c. Copy and paste the CSS code provided on the plugin homepage, changing the image paths to the images on your server.
    d. If that still fails, send me your URL and I’ll have a look for you.

    2)
    Multiple instances of the widget are something I am working on, as is only showing children of the currently selected category. I hope to have these resolved in the next version released.

    Hi Tim

    Keep up the good work on the plugin.

    1)a. I enabled the option for “Enable CSS to show expandable categories” from within the widget admin panel.
    b. I found some icons and uploaded them
    c. Changed the path, but still doesn’t seem to work 🙁
    Is it because of the theme’s CSS? The sub-categories are indented, but they are no expanding / collapsing.

    2) Looking forward to it!
