[resolved] Cannot get icons to show on website at all (9 posts)

    I have installed the latest version of Floating Social Media Icon (v1.1.4), I have followed all the instructions given, I have inserted the hooks as described in both Header and Footer pages, yet the icons still do not show. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin to no avail.

    I have also tried v1.1.3 but again I still have the same problem.

    When I update the settings I get the following message appear in a pink highlight across the top of the page:

    Thanks for updating Floating Social Media Icon plugin... You need to visit Plugin's Settings Page to Complete the Updation Process - Click Here Visit Social Icon Plugin Settings

    Yet when I click the link it just takes me to the page I am already on.

    Also when I look at your screenshots it shows the icons against each theme, however for me these are all blank.

    We just checked your website html source code and can see your theme have repeated wp_head . we are more than happy to help you and fix the problem. please open a support ticket at our client area and so you can send us a wordpress login and then we will be able to look into your wp-admin and find the issue fast. this is not a common issue.

    Hi, great plugin BUT since today I have exactly the same issue as walks316... and I did exactly the same to try and remedy it, but to no avail. I have no more icons at all and I keep getting : ''Thanks for updating Floating Social Media Icon plugin... You need to visit Plugin's Settings Page to Complete the Updation Process'' despite debugging, deactivating, reinstalling etc.

    After Installing the plugin and when you visit the plugin settings first, the plugin will automatically store some values to database. There is a rare case when server is busy, the write will not finish.

    This will make problem like this. This is not only the case of this plugin,All php scripts will have this situation but rare.

    So to assist in this case. we may need to login and check your configuration and all. so better open a support ticket and we will help you to resolve this problem as fast as possible.

    I am currently using iFeature By CyberChimps WordPress ThemesVersion 4.5.29 and have the same issue I have the latest version of floating icons Installed
