# [Plugin: Flickr Highslide] API Key?

 * After installation of this plugin, and going to set it up, it asks for “Flickr
   API key:”.
 * What is it? If you click for more info, flickr eplains that an API key is available
   to people building Aps. I am not building an ap. I am just trying to use this
   one.
 * What gives? What is the API Key I am supposed to enter here?

 * Update: I’ve read up on the subject and it seems that the API key enables flickr
   to send more info than the usual public feed… So in this situation, it is something
   we individually must request even though we are not making an ap ourselves.
