• I recently began to see this error at the bottom of my login, dashboard, and posts:

Warning: Unknown: open(/var/chroot/home/content/84/3654684/tmp/sess_a9rmjn2ad9fttjasv36vecl4g4, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct () in Unknown on line 0

If I deactivate the Flickr Gallery plugin, it goes away and is normal. This error also prevents me from uploading pictures. Any ideas?

  • Hi hftch

I am also encountering this problem intermittently. Like you, if I deactivate the plugin the problem goes away.

Incidentally even when you get the error messages you can upload images using the browser uploader rather than the multi-file uploader.

Did you manage to find the solution or have you stopped using the plugin?

    Cathedralcity,

You’ll have to forgive me but yes, I solved the problem but I forgot to post the follow up. Unfortunately, since I fixed it so long ago, I can’t quite remember how I fixed it, but I believe I discovered that my tmp folder wasn’t present in my directory. I’m on Godaddy hosting and don’t have access to the root through ftp (only the html directory), so I had to ssh into it and create it there. Try that and see if that fixes your problem.
