[Resolved] [Plugin: Flickr Gallery] Displaying Shortcode instead of Flickr Image

I am using the newest versions of Flickr Gallery (1.5.1). When we create a post with the [flickr]’image-number[/flickr] shortcode, the post displays normally in the single post page, but we get the actual shortcode displays in the front index page. I would really like the front page to have images. I’m hoping there is a very simple solution to this, as I haven’t been able to find anyone else having the problem. What am I missing here?

An example can be found in our latest post at http://www.chickadeedesign.com

Thanks for your input and help with this.

    Kevin

Your theme is loading the content in a weird way on the home page so that none of the content filters are being run on it. It also removes any link tags from the HTML, so if you ran the filters on the content before those tags were stripped out, you would end up with unlinked images from Flickr which would be a violation of their TOS.

Thanks Dan. Your review pointed me in the right direction and confirmed what I thought might be happening. It’s all “fixed” and looking the way I want it to appear.
