[Plugin: Flexi Pages Widget] how to keep child pages from highlighting?

  • Hi there!

Thanks for reading my post. I hope you can help me out with this question. I am almost done building a website for a client, but I have one question I cannot figure out.

I am using the Flexi Pages Widget, and have edited the CSS, so everything suits my client’s wishes. There is one thing: how can I prevent my subpages from highlighting when the parent page is clicked? Or maybe the question should be: how can I give my subpages a different color than the parent page?

First things first. Flexi Pages Widget works as it should (see picture here): it highlights the menu item when it is ‘current’. Great.

The problem is with the page called ‘Mogelijkheden’: this one has subpages. This is what happens (see picture): It highlights all the pages (both the parent and the subpages) the same way, while I want the subpages to look like this: see picture.

Please let me know if you can help me out with this question. If you need my CSS code, let me know. I already tried using ancestor and parent tags, but that doesn’t work for me.

Hope to hear from you! Thanks so much!
