[Plugin: File Gallery] I would like a Custom Fields tutorial or example

    Hello,

    Can someone give me a quick example of how to use custom fields in File Gallery?

    I want to have some client-proof fields that can be filled in when an image is uploaded. Then the content of those fields will be formatted in a nice caption below the thumbnails.

    Caption would display something like this:

    [image]
Name of project
Name of client
Download PDF

    In other words html in the caption, for text styling, line breaks, a links.

    Is there a better way to accomplish this? Do I have to create a template to do this? Are there fields already available that can just be turned on in the admin, and on the display template?

    (true confession time. What I really want to do is just upload a PDF, extract and crop a thumbnail, type in some metadata and have it look awsm. But I don’t think we can get there from here…)
