    Hi, Frédéric —
I was able to import sections, categories and article *titles* but not the images. (Contents got moved to the extract field.)

There are 15,000+ articles to process, but I ran the importer 3 times. The first time it finoshed but gave me errors for images; the 2nd and 3rd times it stopped without an error message.

Here is the destination site: http://www.mediatelecom.com.mx/wp/ (The origin is the current root domain.)

Can you suggest a way to move the images? Perhaps another plugin, or different method?

    Thanks,
    John

I have fixed the issue concerning Joomla posts that don’t have the «Read More» split. It is released in 1.0.1.

For your images problem, it may come from a lack of privileges while accessing the images ; I use the copy function through a http connection.
Or it may come from the big size of your database. Mine contains only 130 posts.

Have you tried to run the migration in localhost with you Joomla database in localhost and your WordPress installation in localhost as well ?

Yes, both are on localhost with adequate permissions. Tried again with versión 1.0.1 – but it stalled again. I’m not sure what else to do – ideas? 🙁

Can you provide me a copy of your database so I could test with a large database?

With release 1.1.1, any database of any size can now be imported.
If the import crashes for instance because of a memory limit, you can restart the import and it keeps on importing where it stopped.
