[Plugin: FeedWordPress] Automatic updates in Multi site

Has anyone else had problems with automatic updates for feed wordpress with multisite? The plugin worked fine for me on my single site WordPress install. But on a new multisite project I am working on I have set up a cron job which is running as scheduled but nothing is happening when it hits the http://MYDOMAIN.COM/SITE?update_feedwordpress=1 even if I try to hit this URL manually in the browser nothing happens. I also can’t get the ‘automatic’ wp-cron jobs to work. Although I am not sure what it means when it says ‘Automatically check for updates before page loads’ or ‘after page loads’. what page is it referring to? Manual updates work fine.

Has anyone else got auto updates to work on multi-site? Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I am assuming the ‘update_feedwordpress’ url isn’t working properly, but it is the url the plugin told me use when setting up a cron job and it worked fine on a single site install when it was just http://MYDOMAIN.COM/?update_feedwordpress=1
