[Plugin: Featured Posts Grid] Text next to images?

I’m attempting to get the title, date and excerpt to show next to the thumbnail image. Right now the thumb size is equal to the item wrapper size and I need to seperate that.

Also, is there a way to let the posts slide automatically?

Any ideas?
