[Resolved] [Plugin: Featured Articles Lite] Duplicate sliders in IE

  • We are using FA Lite at aont.org.au

All works well in browsers including IE9 in compatability view BUT when not in compatability view, a second slider space appears above the main slider – one above the other.

Strangely, the thumbnail for the first item appears in the top slider with text content in the bottom, and ALL REMAINING items work perfectly, except for the extra slider box above.

I have changed the order of pages, upgraded theme and checked FA Lite settings to try to fix this with no avail.

Most grateful for any help for this wonderful community organisation.

After taking a look at your website, I noticed that the slideshow is published inside an h4 element. I bet that’s why IE displays the slideshow as it does. By the way, what method of placement do you use (automatic, manual, shortcode…)?
As a note, we don’t actively monitor the forums here, if you ever find yourself into trouble using this plugin, post on codeflavors.com forums to get answers faster.

We use manual and, yes, you hit the nail on the head. H4 tags removed, working as it should.

    Thanks Constantin.

    This is solved.
