  • I’d like to know the same thing….

i have a fs contact form with 20 fields, i really need to know how to reorder fields.

There apparently is no easy, wonderful way to drag and re-order fields, so when I create a form, I just leave a field or two blank in between. This just means that if I need to add or move a field, I don’t have to move every single field up or down to make room for it. I know that jlehrer is asking this question “once a form has been created,” but I just wanted to offer the workaround I use in case someone else sees this before they create their form. It might save some hours in the future!

Sorry this is not an available feature yet. someday I want to make a drag and drop function to do this, but the programming for it is very challenging to me.

Wow, don’t apologize, Mike. This is an excellent plugin and I’m grateful for all your time, expertise, and hard work!

Great plug-in, and I +1 the want / need to re-arrange fields once the form has been created 🙂

    +1 from me too…
that’s the only thing missing from this brilliant plugin

even just a “sort order” option on each – like the wordpress posts – would do the trick… sometimes its just a matter of having to rearrange a couple. drag & drop is fancy, but ultimately, all we need is the ability to easily change the order when we mess up, or when the client changes their mind 😀

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has been scratching their head over this issue. It is a great plugin. Thanks for building it Mike! And if you were able to find a simple way that we can re-order the fields, that would be incredible.

For now though, I’m going to take kiwikat07 advice and add some extra spaces as I work through 🙂

man ive been looking for HOURS!!!! lol…so to see this dev say its not poss at the moment is a bit of a let down in an otherwise great form.

you add this and itll be 100%

If drag-and-drop offers too many problems, how about letting us edit the numbers that appear at the top of the extra fields, as in Extra Field 1, Extra Field 2, etc.

That would be a quite useful feature indeed!
