• I’ve installed the plugin, and successfully connected to my photoset with a new API key. but I’m getting the following error repeated many times on my page before the display of the new fancy photo grid:

Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /nfs/c03/h05/mnt/52456/domains/mthoodfusionpass.com/html/wp-content/plugins/fancyflickr/index.php on line 154

    Any thoughts?

Also – lightbox style overlay isn’t working, upon clicking a thumbnail, it just goes to a new page showing the photo. ??

  • This has also happened for me before and is usually due to a problem retrieving the images from flickr. I’m working on a way to make sure this error message cannot be displayed as it’s not critical.

    Hi all.

Is there a solution in the next weeks for this issue?
I get the same messages in my justhost.com hosting, and I find this plugin the perfect match for my flickr account and my website.

    Thanks for everything.

    Josh,
Did you or breedpdx figure out the solution to the problem? I am having a similar problem where it *does* successfully fetch the photos from Flickr, but it doesn’t display them in the lightbox when you click on them. It opens them in a separate page. I only seem to have this problem with my custom theme (but it works fine with the default twenty ten theme for WordPress 3.0).

Any idea on what files I can check within my custom theme to figure out why it is not working and what needs to be changed?

    Any help is appreciated.

ps. You can see my page and the results here:
