Support » Plugins and Hacks » [Plugin: FancyBox for WordPress] Possible to set width and height of fancybox?

  • I want to open a 400×300 video in fancybox.

    Using the code below

    <div style="text-align: center;"><a class="fancybox" href="#welcomevideo"><img src="" width="251px" height="188px" alt="Welcome To High Output"></a></div>
    <div style="display:none" id="welcomevideo">
    <object width="400" height="300"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="" /><embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="400" height="300"></embed></object>

    fancybox window size is larger than the video.

    Is it possible for me to specify the width and height of fancybox window or better yet, have it automatically adjust to the content of what’s being show in the fancybox window?

  • Have you resolved the issue? I’m also having the same problem.

    Wow I feel dumb. Just figured out how to set the iframe dimensions for your youtube or vimeo videos in the fancybox for wordpress plugin – go to > settings > other. Scroll down to frame size et voila! Great plugin.

    Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I went to the settings > other tab a hundred times and never scrolled down because I thought it was all about the callbacks. 🙂

    is it possible to set different sizes for the iframes if you want to have more than 1 size of iframe?
