# [Plugin: FancyBox for WordPress] doesn't work

 * Tried it with the Custom Community theme, tested with no other active plugins.
   When an image attachment is clicked it simply opens the file in a browser instead
   of fancybox. I don’t see anything in the settings to specify opening attachment
   images in the fancybox, maybe it’s only for thumnails?

 * if I turn off the overlay the image enlargement appears as expected when I click
   the image attachment.

 * This was a strange issue, I’m not really sure how I corrected it, I would swear
   it fixed itself. I had this issue for about a day, got it working with no overlay,
   then the next day overlay worked.
 * The only thing I did was play with some Jquery settings for another slideshow
   plugin I have, but when I set them back to default, everything was still fine.
   So I can’t say that was why.
 * Although it may not be the same problem for you, deactivate all your plugins,
   then reactivate one by one and check the fancybox. Do the same with a different
   theme.
