    Hi,

I configured a Terms & Conditions page on my website. The customer must check the “I’ve read and accepted the Terms & Conditions” checkbox before placing an order.

However, this prevents the Woo Braintree Payment plugin from working. The customer types in credit card details into the Braintree section of the Checkout page, but when he then checks the T&C checkbox all credit card details disappear and that part of the page is effectively reset.

I have removed the T&C checkbox so that Braintree payments can go ahead, but this is a temporary measure as I do really need that checkbox to be present.

    Thanks,

    Juliet

    Hi,

This is a known behavior and is explained on FAQ:
    http://mynixworld.info/shop/faq-woo-mynix-braintree/#q6

Please let me know if that’s the situation and if the solution mentioned there helps.

Thanks Eugen. Yes, I think that is the situation.

I wonder if moving the T&C checkbox above the payment options section, so that it’s done first, would avoid the issue. Will give it a try.

Thanks again for your prompt response.

Yes, that should do the trick because that way the end-user “is forced” to fill the card form after the other fields are already set.

Please share with us if the above/your solution did the trick.

Have you tested the mentioned suggestion?

I regard your silence as that did the trick 🙂

    Hi Eugen,
Huge apologies for the extremely slow response….
I must admit I haven’t yet tested it. (I’ve just omitted the T&C checkbox from that page for now!)
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be a pluggable function, so I’ll have to amend the page template. I promise I’ll report back when I’ve done that….
Thanks again, as ever, for your help.
