Support » Plugin: EDD Sale Price » Plugin failed

  • Version 1.0.5 overrode ALL of my ebook prices and set them to FREE. I lost several sales because of this. I contacted the author and his reply was that he could not duplicate what he saw in my screen grabs. I have deactivated the plugin. If the author does not fix it, I will remove it.

    Hi,

There seems to be something happening that I was not able to replicate as I’ve confirmed in the email and in the support thread. This does not mean the issue is closed and over, this means that I require more information from you and others to try and find a way to replicate this or to resolve it without having to replicate it. This is why I’ve requested additional information from you over email to review what values are present in the database for these products, helping me getting a better view of what is going on / why this is happening.

Unfortunately I never received a reply / further information from you about this.

As per the topic here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/experiencing-significant-bug-in-version-1-0-5/#post-14792884
Once 2 people have confirmed the new version resolves the issues I’ll update the plugin, hopefully this can be done today.

I hope this explains the thought process of things on my end, the ‘not being able to reproduce’ comment is not just a way to shut a conversation down. I hope you can help review the version in the linked above support thread and amend your rating accordingly.

    Cheers,
    Jeroen

    It happened to me too!
All my books were priced free. I only realized later that the sale amount wasn’t showing up in my account.

I hope you develop it more carefully, as I ended up losing money.

@agf321 – Happened to us as well but luckily no sales meanwhile. It seems to be fixed now with the latest update. Thank you @sormano!
